  • White sesame – 300 grams
  • Jaggery – 300 grams
  • Ghee – 1 teaspoon
  • Salt – a pinch

Method of making sesame laddus

1. Frying the sesame:

First of all, sesame seeds are to be roasted, for which heat a heavy oil pan on medium flame. Add white sesame to it and fry for 5 to 6 minutes while stirring continuously. Until it becomes light golden and aromatic. When the mole starts bursting, he understood that he has roasted well. Now take them out in a bowl and keep them to cool.

2. Molching jaggery:

To melt jaggery, now put jaggery in the same pan and cook on medium flame for 7 to 8 minutes. Keep stirring the jaggery continuously, so that it does not stick to the pan and melts in a single way. When the jaggery is completely melted and light foam starts coming in it, then it should understand that it is ready.

3. Mixing ready:

After melting the jaggery, add a pinch of salt and one teaspoon of ghee. Now add roasted sesame seeds and mix well so that the mole is completely wrapped in jaggery.

4. Laddu making:

Now apply some water on the hands and make small lemon -shaped ladoos with the prepared mixture. Place these laddus in a plate and let it cool. Sesame laddus are delicious and nutritious. They can be stored in an air tight compartment for two to three weeks.
