Sambal yojana: Sambal Yojana of Madhya Pradesh government is proving to be a boon for millions of workers working in the unorganized sector. The scheme not only gives relief to workers in a state of accident, death and disability, but also helps women in childbirth and higher education to children.
On 30 April 2025, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav is going to transfer an amount of Rs 600 crore to the accounts of 27,523 labor families in one click during a ceremony in Urban in Dhar district.

Transfer of 600 crore ex -gratia amount simultaneously
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will transfer an amount of ₹ 600 crore to the bank accounts of online workers simultaneously in 27,523 cases under Sambal Yojana on 30 April. This amount has been approved under various benefits like death, disability, maternity aid etc.
The purpose of this initiative is to ensure that the benefits of the scheme should be given directly to the eligible families without any delay or middleman.
More than 1.75 crore workers have been registered
Under this scheme started in the year 2018, more than 1 crore 75 lakh workers have been registered so far and this number is increasing continuously.
So far, the state government has distributed assistance of more than ₹ 6,432 crore in more than 6 lakh 81 thousand cases, which reflects the success and impact of the scheme.
Special provisions for women and children
In Sambal Yojana, women workers are given ₹ 16,000 assistance at the time of delivery, so that they can be kept financially safe.
At the same time, the children of workers do not have to bear any financial burden in higher education, so the state government bears the entire cost of education up to college level, including tuition, examination and other fees.
Gig and platform workers will also get benefit now
On the initiative of the NITI Aayog, now the gig and platform workers working in the state such as delivery agents, app-based drivers have also been included in the realm of Sambal Yojana.
They are also given food grains eligibility slip, so that they can get ration at concessional rates. This step makes the plan more inclusive.
The amount distribution program in Urban in Dhar district
This year’s biggest distribution program was held in Urban in Dhar district, where Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav transferred an amount of 600 crores with a single click. Thousands of beneficiary workers participated in the program and thanked the scheme.
