This difference depends on the demand, cost and tax of gold. 24 carat gold is being sold at ₹ 9,872 and 22 carat ₹ 9,049 in Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kerala and Pune. At the same time, 24 carat gold ₹ 9,877 and 22 carat ₹ 9,054 per gram were recorded in Vadodara and Ahmedabad. Whereas in the country’s capital, 24 carat gold is available at ₹ 9,887 and 22 carat gold at ₹ 9,064.
