However, now some new conditions have been implemented for the plan to ensure that its benefits reach only those which are really needed.
PM Awas Yojana New Guideline 2025: Who will not get benefits?
The government has implemented eight important rules under the new guidelines of PM Awas Yojana. Under this, some people will no longer be able to take advantage of this scheme. People who have the following facilities or assets will now be out of this scheme:
- If a government employee is employed in your house, then your family will not be able to take advantage of this scheme.
- Those who have a tractor, car or other three or four wheelers will also not get this scheme.
- Citizens who have more than ₹ 50,000 credit limit will not be eligible for this scheme.
- If you have agricultural devices, you will not get the benefit of this scheme.
- If you pay income tax, your family will not be able to take advantage of this scheme.
- Those who have more than 5 acres of unprotected land will be out of this scheme.
- Families who earn more than ₹ 15,000 every month will not get the benefit of this scheme.
Documents required for PM Awas Yojana
Some important documents will be required to register in this scheme. Without these documents, you cannot apply in this scheme. The required documents are as follows:
- Aadhar card
- Permanent residence certificate
- Income certificate
- Caste certificate
- Copy of bank passbook
- Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Registration Number

PM Awas Yojana How to check your name in the beneficiary list?
If you have applied for PM Awas Yojana and you want to know whether your name is in the beneficiary list, then you have to follow the following process for this:
- First of all you have to visit the official website of PM Awas Yojana.
- On the homepage of the website, you will get the option of Beneficiary Status. Click on it.
- Then you have to enter your registration number.
- Next, enter your mobile number and do OTP verification.
- When you submit, your status will appear on the screen. If your name is in the list, then you will get the benefit of this scheme.
- If you do not have a registration number, you can also check the beneficiary list by entering your name, Aadhaar number or mobile number using the Advanced Search option.
- You can also check the list of PM Awas Yojana by going to the block office.
