Why is Farmer ID in PM Kisan Yojana?
The government has made it clear that the next installment of PM Kisan Yojana will be given only to those farmers whose Farmer Registry ID remains. Farmers who have not yet made this ID, must get it built before 31 May. For this, they can contact their Gram Panchayat, Patwari or Tehsil office.
What are the works to complete in Sechuration Campaign?
Many important works are being completed for farmers in this campaign. As –
- Their e-KYC will be updated,
- The Aadhaar card will be connected to the bank account,
- The process of DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) will be enabled,
- And also the farm ID will also be constructed.

Pvtg and forest lease holder are also characters
It has also been clarified by the government that farmers associated with PVTG (Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups) and lease holders can also avail this scheme under Forest Rights Act. They will have to contact the office of PM-Kisan District Nodal Officer with their necessary documents.
Application will not be possible after 31 May
The government has also made it clear that these special works related to PM Kisan Yojana will be done only till 31 May 2025. After this, this special opportunity will not be available to make Farmer ID and farmers with no ID will not get the next installment. Therefore, all eligible farmers are advised to be a part of this campaign and complete the process by going to the camp with all the documents.
